Affirmative Action
The University is committed to the concept and practice of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action in all aspects of employment and recognizes its affirmative action reporting and compliance obligations. The University prepares its annual Affirmative Action Plan in accordance with the requirements of Executive Order 11246, as amended, and OFCCP’s implementing regulations, which are found in Title 41 Part 60 of the Code of Federal Regulations. As part of its affirmative action obligations, the University sets placement goals for some of its job groups. Placement goals are established when there are fewer women or minorities in a job group than might reasonably be expected given their availability in the labor market, as these terms are defined and used in Executive Order 11246, as amended, and its implementing regulations.
