As an employee of Illinois State University, you are obligated to report suspected acts of child abuse and neglect under the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (ANCRA) and report certain crimes/incidents as required by state and federal law. All University personnel are required to complete crime reporting training upon hire, as well as annually during the month of October. New Employees should receive an email from our training system, inviting you take the Crime Reporting Training shortly after being hired. Current employees will receive an email with the training link. Employees should complete the training and confirmation within 30 days of receipt of the invitation email.
Employees will log in to the training using their ULID and network password. You will then be taken to the training. If you are already signed in to central log on, you will be taken directly to the first training slide.
PLEASE NOTE: If you log out without completing training, when you log on again, you will be taken to the beginning of training. The system will not remember your progress.
Once training is complete, the employee can print out a certificate from the link provided in the training. If you did not click the link or you need to print another, the blank form can be found here: DCFS Training Acknowledgement
If employees do not complete the training within 30 days of the invitation, they will be locked out of the training. A letter will be sent to the employee noting the failure to take the training within the specified time period. A copy will be sent to the employee's supervisor and Human Resources to be placed in the employee's personnel file.
